Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Tampa at the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park presented by Tampa Bay Lightning. Located along the Tampa Riverwalk, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is transformed with the sights, sounds and activities of the holidays for children and adults of all ages.

Ice Rink Information
Downtown Tampa’s only outdoor ice rink welcomes families and friends to share in this holiday tradition with a view of the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk and Hillsborough River. Whether you are a first-timer, or an experienced skater, the Winter Village Ice Rink is a must-do activity this holiday season.

Rentals
Do Floridians own ice skates? Not to worry! Ice skate rentals are available on-site at the ice rink entrance for children and adults.
Ice skating tickets include 90 minutes of skating, including ice skate rental. Tickets are purchased at the ice rink entrance.

The Shops of Winter Village
The Shops of Winter Village feature 10 boutiques from local makers and purveyors offering a gift idea for everyone on your list. This “pop-up” holiday shopping experience features decorative goods, apparel, handmade toys, jewelry, dog accessories, and more! Thanks to the generous support of PODS® Moving and Storage, each Winter Village Shop is held in a PODS® container in a market-style layout. Visitors are encouraged to shop at the various boutiques during their visit, all while enjoying a beautiful view of the Hillsborough River.

Winter Village Express
The TECO Line Streetcar has partnered with the Tampa Downtown Partnership to bring you a themed ride aboard the Winter Village Express. Riders can board the Express at Whiting Station or Centro Ybor on select Sundays to enjoy treats, music, and activities during the non-stop ride.

36th Annual Downtown Tampa Christmas Parade
Parade steps off at 11 a.m.
The parade will begin at Morgan Street and Madison Street travel west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, turn north and end at Ashley Drive and Cass Street.
After the parade, join the City of Tampa in the park for fun activities and holiday cheer.

The Winter Wonder Ride is a charity bike ride that funds the purchase of bicycles and helmets for at-risk kids.
Every year during the holiday season onbikes sets out on a bike ride through scenic downtown Tampa, out alongside the cool waters of Bayshore Boulevard, before returning to Curtis Hixon park for our incredible Post-Ride Celebration, where you, your friends, and your family, dance the night away!
Now for the BIG NEWS! This year’s theme is Light It Up!
Every year thousands of riders show up wearing stunning variations of the theme for one of the biggest costume-themed bike rides in the world! A tradition we are excited to continue!
From the Winter Wonder Ride, to the Post-Ride Celebration, to their incredible headline entertainment for the evening, WWR8 will be a night you will not want to miss so get your tickets now!
As always the proceeds from The Winter Wonder Ride go towards the purchase of bicycles for at-risk and foster kids throughout the Tampa Bay area this holiday season.

Parking is available for a nominal rate at multiple locations adjacent to the Winter Village, including the William F. Poe Parking Garage north of Curtis Hixon Park. On-street parking in Downtown Tampa is free of charge north of Kennedy Boulevard after 6:00 pm on weekdays and all-day on weekends. Standard parking fares apply at all other times.
We encourage you to park once to enjoy the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park and walk the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk to other downtown destinations. You can also travel to the Winter Village by Downtowner free ride service, Pirate Water Taxi, Coast Bike Share, and more!
